[ARCHIVED] Storm Sewers are Not for Grass Clippings

Please keep all grass clippings or other yard waste out of the city streets. Direct your mower away from the street and back onto your property and remove any clippings that may have been accidentally blown into the street. Stormwater pollutants such as clippings, leaves, and other yard waste place a burden on the city’s stormwater system. This extra material can not only cause back-ups resulting in flooding, but also sends chemicals and other pollutants directly into our lakes and streams.

Please contact City Engineer Mark Graham at 651-204-6050 or with any questions.
