[ARCHIVED] Highway 96 Ramp and Lane Closures in Northeast Metro on February 22

If you travel on Hwy 96 in White Bear Lake, you’ll experience lane and ramp closures on Feb. 22, weather permitting.

Beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, both directions of Highway 96 between Centerville Road and White Bear Parkway will be reduced to a single lane as MnDOT crews freshen up the pavement markings on the road.

In addition, the following ramps will reduced to one lane during the work:

  • Highway 96 ramp to northbound I-35E
  • Highway 96 ramp to southbound I-35E
  • Southbound I-35E ramp to Highway 96
  • Northbound I-35E ramp to Highway 96

All lanes and ramps are expected to be open and be fully operational on that same day, Wednesday Feb. 22 by 4 p.m. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution and slow down in work zones.
