Spring road restrictions are now in place, effective on Friday, March 10, 2023. Road restrictions typically go into effect in late-winter, which is usually late-February or early-March. The City follows MnDOT’s guidelines for restrictions. The City does not allow overweight permits. Please consider the road restrictions when planning for spring construction.
Most city-owned streets are limited to 5 ton per axle; see map for 9 ton city-owned streets. Check with Ramsey County for restrictions on their roads.
