Metro Transit Route 275 was restructured in December 2014. At that time, the former Route 285 was combined with Route 275 to improve frequency of service and access to all I-35E corridor residents with the opening of two new 300-space park-and-ride lots at I-35E & County Road 14 and I-35E & County Road E. Since December 2014, Metro Transit continued to monitor Route 275 ridership, on-time performance and park-and-ride usage as new ridership patterns emerged.
Beginning December 5, the second northbound Route 275 trip (B) leaving the Smith Ramp at 3:43 p.m. will no longer serve the County Road E Park & Ride in Vadnais Heights and the County Road 14 Park & Ride in Lino Lakes due to a very low number of riders getting off at these locations on this particular trip. This change will reduce the travel time to the Running Aces Park & Ride and the Forest Lake Transit Center for the through riders. Afternoon trip times were shifted to balance the demand and accommodate riders destined for the different park-and-ride locations.
