[ARCHIVED] Commerce Court Water Tower Reconditioning Project

water tower reconditioningStarting the week of July 19, Classic Protective Coatings, Inc., the contractor for the City of Vadnais Heights 2021 Commerce Court Water Tower Project, began mobilization, rigging set-up and new handrail installation. First, the City will begin to drain the tank and remove it from service until anticipated project completion on October 12, 2021.

The following weeks will bring erection of the exterior containment system followed by surface preparation and coating operations at both the interior and exterior of the tank.

The project site will have worker activity Monday – Saturday with workers parking personal vehicles in the cul-de-sac.

During this time, residents might experience minor pressure fluctuations. Discoloration of water, similar to when we flush hydrants, may also occur. If your water is discolored, please run your cold water faucet in the lowest level, typically your laundry tub, until it runs clear again.
