The April 2 public hearing on the At Home Apartment proposal has been rescheduled to Wednesday, April 15.
As everyone is aware we are in a global epidemic. In deference to the situation, we want to afford everyone ample opportunity to participate in an online review of the March 24 presentation on the proposal made by the At Home developers. While the governor has ordered a shelter in place order for non-essential services, it’s widely interpreted that laws surrounding community development review by municipalities abide by timelines within the statute.
In short, we will ultimately have to have a public hearing on this process. But in an effort to ensure everyone understands this, we will be extending the process two weeks to give the community more time to review the material online and watch the planning commission presentation on March 24. This will allow everyone the chance to submit comments online. We will still hold a public hearing in person, but hopefully everyone submits their comments online.
Thank you again for your flexibility and understanding during this unprecedented time.
