Due to the extreme cold and school closings, the following Vadnais Heights Parks and Recreation programs are cancelled for Tuesday and Wednesday: Open Gym at AFSA High School, Dance Classes at Vadnais Heights Elementary School, Indoor Soccer at Vadnais Heights Elementary and our ice skating and warming houses at Community Park and Westfield Park.
The National Weather Service has forecast dangerously cold wind chills and a potentially historic cold period for Ramsey County this week. A wind chill warning is in effect from noon on Tuesday, Jan. 29 through 9 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31.
