The Vadnais Heights Commons can accommodate 15 to 400 people.
All rental fees include tables and chairs. Wedding receptions may book up to 10 consecutive hours; onsite ceremonies include 2 additional hours and 1 hour rehearsal. Rooms will be arranged according to the customer’s request. A diagram showing the layout of the event must be submitted 7 days prior to the event. Food and alcohol costs are separate from the rental fee.
We offer a combination of 5-foot round tables, and 6-foot and 8-foot rectangular tables to provide flexibility and variety for layout options, depending on the customer’s needs.
The Vadnais Heights Commons offers onsite wedding ceremonies for parties that are reserving the space for their wedding reception as well. You will have the flexibility of considering both indoor and outdoor setup options for your ceremony. Ceremony only pricing is not available at this time.
Fire codes state that all candles must be enclosed in glass. Any candles not enclosed will not be lit. Candles in pre-approved containers are acceptable (candles must be enclosed in items such as votive holders or rose bowls). Electronic and battery operated candles are allowed.
Food, beverage and alcohol is offered exclusively by Jimmy's Food & Drink. No outside food or beverage (including alcohol) is allowed. Our caterer can work with you on any special dietary needs. The Vadnais Heights Commons has a variety of services to facilitate AV needs and which may be rented for additional costs. It is required that all equipment be tested prior to the event to ensure equipment compatibility and the sound is appropriate. An AV technician may be required and hired at an additional cost from an outside vendor depending on the audio needs. This will assure the renter that all programing needs and technical requirements are met.
Free parking is available on site. The dedicated parking lot has 52 spaces, and the overflow lot has an additional 154 spaces. Street parking is also available.
Events generally need to end at midnight with the venue cleared by 1:00 am.
