Water & Sewer
The City of Vadnais Heights provides its residents with utility services including water and sewer. Utility bills are sent to residential and commercial properties on a quarterly basis.The City of Vadnais Heights provides residents with utility services including water and sanitary sewer. The City provides water through the use of 4 public wells. Sanitary sewer flow is collected in City mains and transmitted to larger diameter pipes that are owned by the Metropolitan Council. The City does not own or operate a sanitary sewer treatment plant.

Gas & Electric
Private utilities are provided to properties within the city for gas and electric. Xcel services gas for the entire city. Electric is serviced by Connexus or Xcel, depending on where you live. Please check the state's online map to confirm your service area. If you have questions regarding private utilities or need to set up your billing, please contact the provider directly.-
Demolition Landfill Site
The landfill site north of County Road F is closely monitored by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA).

Franchise Fee
A franchise fee was implemented in January 2018 on our gas and utility companies as a long-term funding solution to cover annual costs related to city street maintenance and improvements.

Storm Sewer
The City has approximately 33 miles of streets, with the vast majority served by concrete curb and gutter and storm sewer.

The Wellhead Protection Plan is required by Minnesota Wellhead Protection Rule and is administered by the Minnesota Department of Health.

The Ramsey Conservation District has been awarded grants through the Clean Water Fund to help eligible landowners seal unused wells located within Ramsey County.
